The coastal area of Wales has been voted number 1 in the Best in Travel category by lonelyplanet.com and with the advent of the All Wales Coast Path nearing completion, what could be better than visiting a world class coastal region.

Whether you choose hiking, sailing, surfing, swimming, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing, coasteering, diving, yachting or an exhilarating boat trip, we have it all along the coast of Wales.

Perhaps walking Ceredigion's or Pembrokeshire's coastal paths appeals?

Whatever you enjoy doing, we have a Coastal Cottage to suit. Bring the family, for we have a plentiful supply of safe beaches and activities to amuse and occupy all ages.

With the sunniest climate in Britain and seas warmed by the Gulf Stream you can enjoy the West Wales Coast and it's many award winning clean beaches all year round.

Coast & Country Holidays can help you find ideal holiday accommodation either on the coast, just inland, on the Coastal Path or perhaps just with a sea view. So come and relax or take advantage of the plentiful activities around our beautiful beaches.

There is no doubt that West Wales has some of the most beautiful and varied beaches in Britain. From the huge sweep of Broad Haven, Whitesands, Marloes and Newport beach to the rock pools at Manorbier, Caerfai or the surfing paradise of Freshwater West.

If you like access to small towns then Tenby's three Beaches, New Quay or Saundersfoot are where you should head for. Those in search of something quieter should try Swanlake Bay in the south of the county or Traeth Llwyn, Abermawr or Ceibwr in the north, and in terms of sheer beauty you'd be hard-pressed to beat Barafundle beach which was recently voted the most beautiful beach in Britain.

On Cardiganshire's Dolphin Coast there is Penbryn (NT), probably the most unspoilt beach in the UK, the delightful sheltered beaches of Mwnt & Aberporth or the large expanses of Poppet Sands or Tywyn.

Many of our beaches have won Seaside Awards and European Blue Flags flew over Coppet Hall, Dale, Llangrannog, Lydstep, Newgale, New Quay, Poppit Sands, Saundersfoot, Tenby's Castle, North & South Beaches, Tresaith and Whitesands in 2009 (2010 Awards pending). So you know that not only are our beaches magnificent, they're also clean and safe.
